Since its founding in 2018, Lil Ugly Mane, Toro Y Moi, Sánchez-Kane, and No Sesso are a few of the features that have graced the covers of Cult Classic magazine. A publication that defines itself as a Portland-based collective commissioning and publishing creative works across America, Cult Classic is well-known as a platform to preserve, promote, and support timeless underground creatives who make up the undercurrent of culture.
I was the copy editor for issues 02 and 03, working alongside Cult Classic’s creative team and FISK—the design studio who brought the visual identity of the magazine to life.
