PORTER is a design build company dedicated to full-service craftsmanship, creating exciting retail and concept shop experiences for renowned global brands. Built on unparalleled years of production experience, PORTER is equipped with the strategy, design, build, and executional expertise to deliver innovative retail solutions for brands like The North Face, YETI, and Helly Hansen.

To build awareness of their resolute creativity, the team at Plastic Sunshine created a top-to-bottom, tailored brand position and identity. Recognizing through interviews and exercises with PORTER’s team that their brand ethos is truly rooted in their kind and considerate character, we were inspired to design and write to the nuances of their can-do attitude. Graphic design and illustration was informed by a touch of hand grace while copy reflects both knowledgeability and diligence with hints of friendliness.


A combination of strategic language and organic personality, I filtered their brand position through a number of lenses, exercising their voice and tone through every touchpoint of their web experience. From their brand mission, taglines, case studies, and team bios, copy flows rhythmically from one subject to the next.

In tandem with the launch of the new PORTER website, we created a comprehensive social strategy. Leveraging the power of social media to garner attention, attract new business, and recruit team members, their social playbook outlines content pillars, tonal guidelines, and use of in-app features.
