Client: Fur&#38;nbsp;
Fur is a body care brand that produces beautiful products for every part of the body—for every body. The brand is most well-known for their signature Fur Oil, specifically designed for the pubic area, to soften hair and prevent ingrowns. Fur’s lineup has expanded to include additional products that are crafted with the cleanest facial-grade, vegan, cruelty-free, non-toxic ingredients that are dermatologically and gynecologically tested.&#38;nbsp;
Fur created a whole category of hair and body care products that push back against the norm and inspire self-confidence. While their existing tone of voice is approachable and unique to the industry, they needed clear voice and tone guidelines to usher their brand into the future. My role was to develop these guidelines, bringing a deliberate point of view as a copywriter and content strategist.

Working closely with their creative team and founders, Laura Schubert and Lillian Tung, I led a brand immersion and audit into their brand voice to uncover opportunities to communicate their story more clearly and consistently across every touchpoint. 
Fur had several aspirations for the project, including to refocus pubic hair care as their calling card, bridge the communication gap between their B2C and B2B markets, emphasize expert-approve products, and bolster their mission to educate and inspire consumers.The ideal outline for the guide was to cover the brand position, philosophy, pillars, personality, audience profiles, and voice principles, including fresh, innovative tonal filters. Through the course of several weeks, I analyzed and defined these chapters, writing and pulling forward examples that would be easily applicable for stakeholders at any level. 
This process was highly collaborative. Each chapter of the 61-page guideline was pressure tested by Fur’s copy team, who provided direct and valuable feedback. The result is a comprehensive guide that covers all of Fur’s initial project goals and can be shared internally as well as with professional and influencer partners.

The Jordan Brand Women’s team enlisted Thesis to create the narrative direction for Women’s History Month. The brief outlined the importance of legacy, community, and defiance—themes central to Jordan Brand. The goal of the narrative direction was to employ it to directly relate to the campaign’s protagonists: Sally Aguirre of Sally’s Shoes and Fairley Mccaskill, VP of Media Relations and Strategy at a major music label. 

Through creative brainstorms, talent interviews, and many iterations between myself and the writing lead on the project, we landed on a concept that emphasized community and courage while positioning the Jordan ethos of defiance from a female perspective. Our protagonists built up monumental careers with success measured by their willingness to give their energy and mentor the next generation. 
&#38;nbsp;In addition to defining the narrative, I executed on all deliverables for the campaign, including copy for four dedicated emails, three app threads for the Nike App, three integrated media toolkits, and a .COM refresh.

&#38;nbsp;Being a part of the Jordan family is a coveted position—one open to all who aspire to greatness and believe in the dream.

In spring 2024, Jordan Brand approached our Thesis writing team with the goal of refining the meaning of Jordan Family Days, an annual, distinctive member moment. The campaign included three days of exclusive, hype-worthy drops. While the concept was exciting, the brief noted the ambiguity of “family” and the client sought our help in dialing in the meaning.

I worked hand-in-hand with the writing lead to develop a clear messaging strategy. Ultimately, we elevated the heritage of the brand through inclusive language, legacy nods, and emphasis on the campaign’s talent. Our central theme was unity: Bringing people inspired by Michael Jordan’s legacy together. The talent, made up of athletes and creators, were united by their drive and freedom to be themselves. The result was a strong narrative paired with resonant imagery. 

In addition to the messaging direction, I wrote all the copy across email, Nike App, IM, and .COM for the campaign.

During my time there I became the dedicated writer for social media—the first the brand had ever had since establishing their presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Working closely with the social media manager, we built comprehensive monthly and quarterly strategies for posts, Stories, and Reels. We eclipsed the 500K follower count in my first year and increased engagement across the board, even influencing the generation of UGC content that compared closely to our own brand photography.
 In addition to writing for social media, another key aspect of my role was leading the email content strategy. While the goals of social media were to engage and inspire consumers, email was intended solely for conversion. Collaborating with the e-marketing manager, we utilized Airtable to design the marketing calendar and plan content before handing off tasks to the designers and copy team.&#38;nbsp;

Overhauling the structure for writing product copy was another significant accomplishment. With the high-level of thought and craftsmanship that goes into every lighting, hardware, and furniture collection, in partnership with the copy team, we sought to unify the tone, covering the design inspiration while simultaneously bolstering SEO and CSR initiatives.

Skillfully crafted and made to be enjoy, Kozha Numbers is a handbag company that produces designs inspired by art and architecture. Each handbag is designed and constructed from their Portland, Oregon studio. For the introduction of their handbag, Sabi, I worked with co-founder Lena Vasilenko-Tsymbal to tell the story of the design in the PDP copy.&#38;nbsp;
